DMS Design & Consulting started almost by accident. After I had left my previous “traditional” job I started doing contract work for a project manager I had met through my last employer. One thing roller into another and then I found myself starting the paperwork to create my own LLC.
That was back in January of 2013 and here I am today.
An architect by trade, I found myself learning cost estimating. It wasn’t all that difficult because with on-screen takeoff it’s really not that much different than drawing in CAD.
Project management was already in my Rolodex so that wasn’t to far of a stretch. CAD work I’ve been doing since 1999 so that is a snap as well.
Currently I’m working on all kinds of various things from residential additions, estimates of all kinds, back office project management and anything else that my clients need help with.
